Surftwin and I took a week down south to enjoy some wind free waves and warm waters, got lucky and scored a few days of waves despite the lack of predicted swell, there always seems to be a bump in the lineup somewhere.....
We also stopped by "The Parking Lot of Knowledge" as one person who knew put it, "If you need to know how to do something, there is always someone there who can tell you how, despite the fact they may be out of work or never having done it themselves, it won't stop them from giving you advice about it!" It seemed pretty funny at the time.....
Groms can make the waist high wind swell look size-able.....
Surfed out of town most of the time if the north westerlies weren't blowing though and met Mike Doyle checking out a beach to kitesurf at, but he didn't stick around so no pics, damn! Cool guy.

How about a local report. How them sandbars holding.
when are you going to come down under for a surf?
I've met Doyle too. Did you get him started about his years living in Oregon? He's a hoot!
Oz has always been a destination I wanted to land on Nurse. Mebbe Surftwin and I will end up make a serious roadtrip down that way??
Yeah he mentioned H. Creek Chum, I think he had been just come from thereabouts actually. He was jonesing for wind or waves and left before we could corner him....;-)
